Since I have a lot of spare time in my hands (well, when Iya is already asleep), I decided to do some of the party accessories to be used for her birthday.

I’m not a Photoshop expert, but I have some knowledge in layers, some editing, and a bit (a very tiny bit) of creativity. This is my finished product – already printed out and sent through email.

Souvenir Tags

Just a simple tag for the giveaways. Printed, cut, and tied them to the toy all by myself. My cousin actually offered to help but I said, “Don’t deprive me of the joy of doing all these stuff for my baby’s party”. Hehe! A bit selfish but, I would rather do it all myself.

This one’s for the “Egg Surprise” game. There are a hundred plastic eggs, with a number and a treat inside. The numbers will be their raffle number draw them and they can win some special prizes. But wait, there are 3 eggs in the basket that has no numbers but has the letters I, Y, and A. The persons who will get those will automatically win special prizes, but they are not included in the raffle anymore.

I also prepared another game wherein they will guess how may candies are inside the candy jar. Of course, the prize will be the candy jar.

Julia Standee

This one is what I am most proud of! I got this idea from a forum topic in Smart Parenting website. I thought this would be a great addition to the stage, along with the Barney and Friends standees. This one is just simple to do: have the tarp printed, cut, glue or use double-sided tape to paste it on the illustration board then voila! My very own Julia standee! I just spent Php240 for the tarp and Php 120 for the board. The photo was taken using my camera phone on a well-lighted area and the tarp printer just did the layout for my standee.

There… Labor of Love.
